We’re not biased or anything, but Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! is the best g*ddamned program on television. And the new season (#3) starts at12:45am this Sunday night, (ok, technically it’s Monday) on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim!
Luckily for everyone on the entire planet (except maybe those in censor-happy China), clips from the new season are already available! They don’t say anything about the clips being new, but they are…hilarious!
Check out new Tim and Eric clips here!

Comedian Russell Brand, best known for his hilarious performance as Infant Sorrow lead singer Aldous Snow in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, will be hosting the 2008 Video Music Awards.
Brand isn’t as well known as many of the previous VMA hosts (including Jack Black, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Chris Rock), but I think we can all agree that he is a perfect choice for this year’s event.
The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards are set to air live on September 7th, so tune-in to find out what Brand has up his sleeve….or his leather pants. Uh…

Music is a funny industry. Like most other art, you’re praised if you’re even remotely aware of the underground and expected to, invariably, recognize the acts of the current mainstream. Myspace has managed to simultaneously make it easier and more difficult to keep up. Sure, there are thousands of new bands on Myspace that you would have never heard of before had it not been for the website–and it can all be very crowding to your musical mind–but they’re also all just a click away now. So get your little fingers ready for some intense clicking action. These Myspace links are probably gonna blow you away. Or…um…I hope at least one of them does.
ONE DAY AS A LION
Were you ever into Rage Against The Machine? How about The Mars Volta? Well, if you said yes to either one of those questions, you should hear the new project between Mr. Political Activism himself; Zach de la Rocha and the previous Mars Volta drummer; Jon Theodore. It’s like they were bored on some Cali beach one day, sipping Pacificos, when they looked at each other and said, “Shit, you know, lets just undo all of the wrong that Audioslave has done.”
Listen to tracks from all the bands after the jump! Read More »

The comic-movie madness continues with the teaser release of two ComicCon posters for Robert Rodriguez’s remake of Red Sonja, of which he is the producer. (Douglas Aarniokoski will direct it.) According to the poster, the movie is set to release in 2009, though little is currently known about the film. Rose McGowan is set to play the “She-Devil with a Sword,” however, no other names have been released. But really, what more do you need than a fiery, blade-wielding McGowan kicking ass in a chain-maille bikini?

You’ll find a lot of round-ups of super hot, perfectly posed, professionally photoshopped women here on COED. This is not one of those posts. This time, we’ve decided to focus on the “real women” of Craigslist.org’s Casual Encounter section–an eclectic mix of ladies out to get some good, “no strings attached” sex–if you don’t count herpes as a string…Sure they might be tattered, scandalous, haggard and mildly damaged, but at least they’re honest.

Dustin Diamond, who starred as Samuel “Screech” Powers on Saved By The Bell for 13 years, will write a tell-all book called Behind The Bell that delves into the “sexual escapades among cast members, drug use, and hardcore partying” that took place on and off set.
Behind The Bell will be co-written by veteran ghostwriter Alan Goldsher. There is no release date schedule for the book.

Pineapple Express star Amber Heard is the new hottness!
We missed Amber in our Emerging Hotties of 2008 list (oops…) but it is safe to say her star is on the rise.
Just look at these photos from Maxim’s August 2008 issue–definitely some of the steamiest pictures circulating the Net right now.

“He’s a big time slugger with an attitude to match, but he also may be baseball’s last honest warrior.”
The media has fed us over and over how this guy is not a team player and a traitor to the NLBPA, but that is crap. If you don’t believe that read Frank Thomas is “The Natural” on Maxim Online.
I have always been a fan of “The Natural,” and lately he gets treated like a 3rd tier player. He got lost in the steroid era and can now get dropped into the obscurity of over-the-hill players who try to command high salaries.
Frank Thomas is:

The expo is finally over. All the producers and designers can breathe a sigh of relief and get back to making games instead of pimping them. All in all I felt, as an outside observer, that the show left me slightly wanting. There was no groundbreaking news, no giant promises, and no real blockbuster game announced that we didn’t already know about.
The Nintendo Talk
Nintendo is about making cash. Which isn’t a bad thing. Unless you’re a serious hardcore Nintendo gamer fan boy who wishes they’d remake Zombie’s At My Neighbors for the Wii.I wouldn’t say they are done with hardcore games altogether, but the order of the day is definitely casual stuff, and their talk certainly said that. They did introduce some new hardware for the Wiimote that promised more accurate movement…and then used it to throw a Frisbee to a dog in Wii Sports 2. Read More »
