Lower back pains? Knees bothering you? Weak ankles? The solution to your problems may not be more padding, healing salves or the latest miracle supplement. The answer you’ve been looking for could be a good run. Your little league baseball coach may have been on to something when he told you to, “Walk if off.”
It’s not just running any way you want though, this is a very special, secret running style that only I can teach you. So listen to what I have to say and then get off your fat ass and go for a jog.
I discovered the magical, healing powers of this kind of running about a year ago when I realized I was getting fat. Read More »

As many of you heard, last night there was a “fight” in a WNBA game that looked about as real as a WWE wrestling match - we’re not the only one to make the case that this was a publicity stunt used to draw attention into the “intensity” of the sport.
Since the WNBA is now implementing circus like publicity stunts to draw attention to the league, we’ve decided to give them some more suggestions to help them up their fan base.
Check out Alternative WNBA Publicity Stunts after the jump! Read More »

Sports are arguably too important in the average guy’s life. Guys are the ones arguing against that point. Sports cause guys to skip family events and work obligations for meaningless mid-season games and preseason action. Yet there is the negative half of sports; the kinds of things that make the average guy cringe at when he spends his average 60 hours a week “with” his favorite teams. Now there can be a number of things guys hate about sports, but I thought I’d come up with just a few:

How?
I am sh**ty golfer, but even I know to sign my scorecard - as a professional, how do you miss that?

I blew $50 on the Affliction fight.
I thought for sure it was going to be amazing, with a fight card like what they had - how could it not be? Within the first minute, I was amazed that they had Michael Buffer as the announcer. I thought, WHOAH! Hardcore!
No…not quite. The fighter segments, audio and almost every shot, was being produced by film students. The audio BLEW and every time anyone spoke into the microphone is was easy muffled or crackling. What was a real clue was that all of the graphics were low-res. If you are going to offer a show in HD, at least make an attempt to do the small stuff.

Stop kissing Josh Hamilton’s ass. He doesn’t deserve all the praise and he certainly doesn’t deserve to be called a hero or a role model or a good influence. He was a complete f**k up, but because he’s can still play baseball better than almost anyone else alive we should praise him? No.
Yes, he was addicted to cocaine and crack for years. Yes, the fact that he seems to have made a full recovery is impressive (overcoming any addiction that overwhelms a person like that is impressive), but he’s not a great guy because of it. He should be working his way back to being an OK guy. Half a season of good baseball doesn’t clear him of all the bad sh*t he did before. Read More »

It didn’t take Jackson very long to post the $25,000 bail he needed after going all ’sunday sunday sunday’ in his ‘Rampage-mobile.’ Unfortunately, Jackson didn’t have much time to enjoy his freedom. According to Sherdog.com, friends of Jackson signaled to police that he may be a danger to himself and those around and the cops were back at the house of ‘Page pretty quick… Read More »

Last night’s 15 inning All-Star marathon featured some of the best baseball play we will ever see.
By the 7th, inning major league leading vote getters like Ramirez and Rodriguez were benched and it was left up to the young studs of baseball like Justin Morneau, Russell Martin, Michael Young and the unlikely Nate McLouth to decide the outcome of the game.
We saw a seven inning pitcher’s duel full of heroic defense, timely hitting, aggressive base running, and best of all, hustle! Read More »
